Woven straw and snakeskin cardigan jacket by Amen Wardy. We love having this piece again- and this time in a bright cherry red! Sheer basket-weave raffia is intertwined with graphic stripes of black and red snakeskin in a boxy deep v-neck cardigan silhouette. Trimmed in ribbed knit silk cuffs and waistband and lined in organza for a comfortable, breezy fit that glides over the skin. Three-button closure with a slight blouson waist and long dolman-style sleeves. We would wear over a bra and black denim short, topped with a flat brimmed hat, highlighting all of the luxurious shapes and textures. Black, cherry red.

Some portions of the strips are pulled/stretched out a bit, and just need to be worked back through the weave (pictured); does not take away from the style. One broken black snake strand a center of back (pictured); visible but not immediately noticeable. Few broken strands at left arm at shoulder (pictured); visible but not immediately noticeable, but we would take to a tailor to reconnect/reinforce the strips so they don't become unraveled.
